Job Purpose:
To oversee the Wealth Management operations for the bank, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning while upholding security protocols, compliance standards, and operational efficiency. This role involves supervising wealth & asset operational activities, mentoring junior staff, driving process improvements, mitigating risks, and maintaining a high standard of operational execution. A strong knowledge of Wealth & Asset Management products, custody processes, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and improving Wealth Management (WM) workflows to optimize operational efficiency and mitigate risks.

Document, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures and other Wealth Management-related documentation.

Collaborate with Line Manager to work closely with the engineering, security, operations, and product teams to improve internal- and external-facing products and processes.

Process/Monitor the day-to-day operations task, including transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, custodian services and reconciliations.

Act as a point of escalation for related issues raised by junior staff, or internal stakeholders, ensuring prompt resolution.

Assist in preparing and reviewing reports, documentation, and internal controls to support audits and regulatory reviews.

Drive digitisation and automation initiatives to improve turnaround time and client experience. Participate in UAT, system configuration, and re‑engineering process for custody and wealth systems.

Provide guidance and cross-training to junior staff when necessary.

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in WM and recommend relevant updates to the bank’s operational strategy.

Stay informed about industry regulations and work closely with compliance teams to ensure WM process meet regulatory requirements.

Ensure any outstanding items are assigned to relevant departments and are followed up for timely resolution.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

6+ years of experience of WM Operations Management, preferably within the financial services industry.

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.

In-depth understanding of Wealth Management products and the best practices. Strong knowledge of securities, funds & custodian services.

Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the Wealth & Fund Management industry is a plus

Familiarity with Wealth Management & Fund management software and systems is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
