Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – WordPress Developer to support our Marketing team by building and managing high-performing websites and landing pages. This role will play a critical part in enhancing our digital presence, optimizing website performance, and ensuring seamless execution of marketing campaigns. The position contributes directly to digital marketing effectiveness and lead generation by delivering high-quality WordPress solutions and implementing onsite SEO best practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, landing pages, and microsites aligned with marketing campaigns

Implement onsite SEO best practices, including metadata optimization, heading structure, internal linking, schema markup, and URL structuring

Optimize website performance, including page speed, mobile responsiveness, Core Web Vitals, and overall technical health

Collaborate with designers, content writers, and marketing stakeholders to execute website updates and campaign requirements

Manage WordPress environments, including plugins, themes, backups, security monitoring, and bug fixing

Monitor website health and SEO performance using analytics and webmaster tools; provide actionable insights and recommendations

Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, UX/UI standards, accessibility compliance, and modern development practices

Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, SEO techniques, and digital best practices
Experience Required:

3–5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, website management, and onsite SEO

Experience working within a marketing, digital, or agency environment will be preferred
Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

Solid understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques

Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Familiarity with WordPress plugins, themes, and CMS customization

Ability to integrate third-party APIs and marketing tools (e.g., CRM, analytics, automation tools)

Knowledge of website performance tools (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse) is a plus
