Role & responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day accounting operations including payables, receivables, payroll, banking, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of all financial transactions in compliance with IFRS, UAE laws, and company policies.
  • Maintain books of accounts, fixed asset register, and reconciliation of vendor, bank, and inter-company accounts.
  • Oversee UAE VAT return filing, and statutory audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and authorities for timely submissions and compliance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, MIS, and variance analyses.
  • Reconcile inter-company transactions and ensure alignment of Dubai accounts with India HQ.
  • Support preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor project expenses, track costs, and assist in profitability analysis.
  • Manage local banking operations, vendor payments, and fund transfers, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations.
  • Oversee documentation and coordination for import/export activities including shipping, customs clearance, and material transfer from India to UAE for project requirements.
