Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager – Operations & Maintenance

Job Description

We are looking for an O&M resource at AM / DM level. The resource will be responsible for ensuring

safe, reliable, and uninterrupted Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of City Gas Distribution (CGD) assets

across the assigned Geographical Area (GA). This includes managing pipeline networks, CGS, PRS,

CNG/LCNG stations, and DBS facilities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, statutory

compliance, asset reliability, and customer satisfaction. The resource will also be leading O&M teams,

managing contractors, and driving operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end O&M of CGD assets, including pipelines, CGS, PRS, CNG/LCNG stations, and

DBS.

• Ensure uninterrupted PNG & CNG supply with minimum downtime through quick fault diagnosis

and restoration.

• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance to enhance asset life and system reliability.

• Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and HSE standards.

• Lead and develop O&M teams and contractor workforce to achieve operational excellence.

• Support project-to-O&M transition, including commissioning, stabilization, and asset handover.

• Monitor and improve key operational KPIs such as uptime, MTTR, leakage index, and customer

complaints closure.

• Control O&M budgets, AMCs, spares, and operating costs for optimal financial performance.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
