Assistant Montessori Preschool Teacher *Seasonal*

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. We are looking for someone who is willing to work with all ages at our school (12 weeks to 7 years old) as a float teacher. This position would be a seasonal position for our Summer Camp with the potential for employment into the school year.

As a FVMA teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a solid foundation for their education. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: forming trust and a connection with your students, providing quality childcare, and helping the lead teacher carry out lesson plans.

Duties:
- Help implement lesson plans made by the lead teacher
- Create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to explore and learn
- Provide individualized attention to each child, addressing their unique needs and interests
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and teach appropriate social skills
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the well-being and progress of each child
- Assess the development of each child and provide regular feedback to parents
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom

- Excellent behavior management skills to create a positive and structured learning environment preferred
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain order and facilitate learning preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices preferred but not required
- CPR certification is preferred but not required
