Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager

Location: Walton Road, Lahore

Industry: Textile / Export Stitching Unit

Working Days & Hours: 6 days a week, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Export Textile Stitching Unit. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of textile manufacturing processes, fabric types, GSM (grams per square meter), and possess the ability to ensure smooth production flow while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Operations Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising daily production activities.
Monitor fabric sourcing, quality, GSM standards, and ensure proper utilization of materials.
Coordinate with stitching, cutting, finishing, and packing teams to ensure timely order execution.
Implement effective workflow processes to achieve production targets and minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and export requirements.
Resolve operational challenges and provide solutions for smooth running of the unit.
Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to manage fabric and accessories requirements.
Track KPIs for production efficiency, wastage control, and on-time delivery.
Supervise staff performance, provide guidance, and ensure discipline within the unit.
Report daily progress and highlight operational issues to senior management.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in textile stitching/export industry operations.
Strong knowledge of fabric types, GSM, and stitching unit mechanics.
Proven ability to handle operational challenges and deliver results under pressure.
Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and production management tools.
