We are currently looking for a professional and reliable Assistant Community Manager at one of our on-site locations in our Kansas City, market. The Assistant Manager is responsible for providing administrative and community management support for the on-site community manager. This position will also require assisting the on-site maintenance personnel as needed.

  • Able to work evenings and/or weekends on rare occasions. Typical work schedule will be 7-4, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Communicate with on-site manager on all issues and concerns by residents and assist manager as directed.
  • Answer phones and follow up with resident on concerns. Log all calls and track closed and unclosed items.
  • Schedule all functions and meet with the residents to review the contracts and guideline checklists.
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets for several projects.
  • Coordinating community newsletters, mailings, and communication. Post and update community website.
  • Special Projects for Committees and Board Members as required.
  • Assist onsite maintenance with miscellaneous items including emptying doggie stations, trash removal, power washing, etc.
  • Assist community on daily or weekly maintenance tasks as needed.

Applicants Must:

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Great organizational skills with a can-do positive attitude.
  • Computer skills required in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
  • Ability to maintain a strong rapport with homeowners, board members, vendors and staff.
  • Have previous community management experience, a plus
