Assistant Operational Manager – Supermarket Chain

About the Role

Al Madina Group, a growing supermarket chain , is looking for an experienced and results-driven Operational Manager to oversee and manage day-to-day operations across multiple locations .

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations across all outlets to ensure smooth functioning
  • Monitor sales performance, KPIs, and profitability
  • Ensure proper implementation of company policies and standards
  • Manage and guide branch managers and store teams
  • Optimize staffing, productivity, and cost control
  • Ensure stock availability, merchandising, and inventory control
  • Handle customer service standards and resolve escalations
  • Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and HR departments
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, hygiene, and safety standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of retail experience (mandatory)
  • Experience in supermarket/hypermarket operations is essential
  • Proven ability to manage multiple outlets
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of UAE retail market and operations
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
