Assistant Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to support and help lead our growing landscape operations throughout Lee and Collier Counties.
This position is ideal for an individual with strong landscape industry experience, excellent plant knowledge, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will work closely with our operations and account management teams to oversee daily field operations, support employees, maintain quality standards, and help ensure exceptional service for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily management of landscape maintenance, irrigation, enhancement, and installation operations.
- Support scheduling and coordination of field crews and resources.
- Conduct quality control inspections and job site visits.
- Train, mentor, and support field employees.
- Assist with employee onboarding and ongoing training.
- Identify and resolve field issues before they become customer concerns.
- Ensure crews have the equipment, materials, and information needed to perform their work efficiently.
- Monitor landscape health, irrigation performance, and overall property appearance.
- Assist with customer requests, service recommendations, and field follow-up.
- Support account managers with property inspections and customer communication.
- Maintain company standards for quality, safety, professionalism, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of landscape industry experience preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Southwest Florida plant material, palms, turf, irrigation, and landscape maintenance practices.
- Strong understanding of proper pruning techniques, plant health care, fertilization, and pest management.
- Ability to identify landscape issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Bilingual English and Spanish required.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be insurable under company insurance guidelines.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles and landscape equipment.
- Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and basic computer software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Irrigation experience.
- ISA Certified Arborist, GI-BMP Certified, horticultural certifications, or similar industry credentials.
- Experience with Aspire or similar landscape management software.
- Experience managing multiple crews, routes, or departments.
- Knowledge of landscape enhancements, irrigation systems, and plant health care programs.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
