Assistant Operator – Drum Section

Key Responsibilities:Production Operations:

• Assist in operating drum section machinery as per SOPs and instructions from the Operator/Shift Supervisor.
• Monitor machine performance, temperature, pressure, and other parameters; promptly report abnormalities.
• Support in fiber drying, curing, and drum-based processing operations.
• Help in adjusting machine settings when required to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensure continuous feeding of raw materials and removal of processed fiber from the drum section.

Quality Control & Process Monitoring:

• Conduct basic visual inspection of fiber quality during and after processing.
• Follow production quality standards and report any deviation immediately.
• Assist in sample preparation for QC testing when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of drums, equipment, and surrounding area.

Material Handling:

• Assist in movement of materials within the production area.
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials, additives, and finished fibers.
• Support in waste collection and disposal as per plant guidelines.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow all plant safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Report unsafe conditions, equipment faults, and near-miss incidents.
• Adhere to SOPs, housekeeping standards, and company safety policies.

Education:

• High School (Preferred)

Experience:

• manufacturing/production; experience in fiber, chemical: 1 year (Required)
