Assistant Painter (Asistente de pintor)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for prepping and masking surfaces to be painted, pressure washing, help with ladders, truck and trailer organization. Your attention to detail and ability to work with different materials will contribute to the overall quality of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
• Pressure washing
• Mix paints and match colors to specifications
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
• Remove fixtures and hardware before painting and reinstall them after the paint has dried
• Clean up work areas and dispose of hazardous materials properly
• Cleanup equipment
• Organize truck and trailer
• Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment as required

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter in the construction industry
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools related to painting
• Knowledge of different painting techniques including stucco, concrete finishing, airless paint spraying, plastering, and drywall repair
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Complete our online and on-site training program
• Valid driver’s license and or vehicle
• Pride in your work and attention to detail
• A team player
• Organized
• Not afraid of heights
• Ability to lift and move ladders
• Language: Spanish and English (basic)
