Overview
This position is responsible for assisting in processing, managing, selling, and ordering new and used parts to ensure that parts and supplies needed for production are available. Develops processes and procedures to streamline efficiency, productivity, and revenue. Responsible for keeping business well-stocked with necessary parts techs need. Maintains positive interactions with customers to provide great customer service.
Duties
- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal levels
- Update and assist with eBay and Ecommerce sales, packaging and shipping
- Placing parts orders, tracks, and updates received items
- Maintain inventory in Klutchn and Google Docs
- Manage and monitor the use of parts
- Assist customers and co-workers with parts needs
- Keeps work areas neat, clean, and organized
- Maintain daily logs of work performed in Klutchn database
- Lead and or assist in special projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse management, or automotive parts operations within a dealership or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems with excellent data entry skills.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and negotiation techniques to optimize costs.
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, auto body work, or equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills coupled with effective communication abilities for liaising with suppliers and team members.
- Experience with logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, demand planning, and order management systems is advantageous.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
