Assist Payroll Administrator with the duties associated with payroll and payroll processing.
- Process bi-weekly payroll and other types of payrolls in a timely manner.

Handle end-to-end payroll processing.

Calculate complex deductions.

Adhere to federal, state and local tax laws.

Handle garnishments.
-
Generate reports.
-
Assist departments/employees with payroll questions and issues.

Other duties as required.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Licenses and/or Certifications:
Knowledge:
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook or related software.

Quarterly and Annual Reporting of Payroll Taxes and W-2’s.
-
Garnishments, Child Support Orders, and Tax Liens.

Reporting Requirements of the Virginia Retirement System.
