Assistant Pharmacist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced female assistant pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Arabic and English and have a minimum of 2 years of UAE professional experience.

Requirements:

• Female pharmacist
• Diploma in Pharmacy
• Valid UAE Assistant Pharmacist License (DHA / MOH / DOH – transferable or active)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the UAE
• Multilingual (Arabic/English/Hindi/Urdu is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of UAE medical insurance policies
• Experience with insurance claim submission and resubmission
• Familiarity with claim systems (e.g., eClaim, DHPO, Riayati and insurer portals)
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
• Good knowledge of UAE pharmacy regulations
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities:

• Assist the licensed pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately
• Handle prescriptions and verify patient information
• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare and insurance regulations
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory
• Provide excellent customer service
