Schedule: Part-Time (6–10 Admin hours per week ; additional lesson hours available)
Reports To: Racquet Sports Director & Pickleball Coordinator - Barry Friedman & Anthony Rice
The Assistant Pickleball Coordinator supports the daily operations and continued growth of the pickleball program at The Claremont Club. This role assists in organizing programming, events, and instruction while helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for players of all skill levels. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and passionate about pickleball, with a strong commitment to delivering excellent member experiences.
- Assist in coordinating open play, round robins, leagues, tournaments, and social events

Support daily court operations, including scheduling, setup, and monitoring during peak play

Provide instruction and assist with clinics and group programming

Engage with members to promote participation and enhance overall experience

Assist with staff coordination and ensure smooth execution of programming

Support marketing efforts by helping update schedules, communications, and event information

Complete administrative duties such as score entry, scheduling support, and responding to member inquiries
- Follow all club policies related to programming, scheduling, and marketing requests

Accurately record hours worked and tasks performed in the UKG system

Ensure all lessons, programs, and participants are properly entered into Club Automation

Support structured programming formats and organized calendar planning

Assist in maintaining operational standards and supporting program revenue goals

- Must be a certify Pickleball instructor by an accredited Pickleball Certification Organization

Experience playing pickleball required; coaching or instructional experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude

Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed

CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Hourly pay range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Opportunity to earn additional income through commission on private lessons, semi-private lessons, group lessons, and clinics

Commission structure ranges from 40% to 50% depending on lesson type and participation

Part-time role requiring approximately 6–10 hours per week, with a combination of on-court and administrative responsibilities
