Roller Rabbit is seeking an Assistant Print Designer who specializes in print and pattern design. You will work across all categories, including graphics for casuals. This role requires a strong eye for color, print, and pattern with a deep understanding of the Roller Rabbit brand identity. Reporting to the Director of Print Design in conjunction with the Design Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design seasonal prints, graphics, and embroidery artworks across all categories with a focus on casuals, ensuring alignment with brand identity and creative direction
- Research trends, concepts, and color to support seasonal storytelling and innovation across product categories
- Develop print repeats and pitch sheets to guide factories and vendors from development through production
- Communicate with factories and across teams to achieve correct color-matching and a high-quality product
- Support development of graphics and prints for partnerships, collaborations, store exclusives, and other special projects
- Render CADs for internal reviews and cross-functional meetings
- Maintain organization of strike-offs, design archives, and seasonal assets to ensure accurate tracking and efficient workflow
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, or Textile Design
- 0 - 2 years experience in the surface design field
- Exceptional ability to create original artwork in a variety of media – including hand-painting, drawing, and digital media
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel (Procreate is a plus!)
- Demonstrates a strong eye for color, print, and pattern with a deep understanding of brand identity
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized with ability to anticipate and adapt to change
- Positive attitude with desire to learn and grow

Salary
$60,000 - $65,000 per year
