Responsibilities
- Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production management, quality control, and safety compliance
- Coordinate production planning activities using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP to meet customer demands efficiently
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies
- Manage daily manufacturing activities, including assembly processes and equipment maintenance schedules
- Support supply chain analytics and supply chain management efforts to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste
- Monitor operational performance metrics and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork while ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of powder coating and/or industrial painting
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing techniques, process improvement methodologies, and supply chain management principles
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and support maintenance activities
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, promote continuous improvement, and manage operations efficiently
- Strong analytical skills with experience in supply chain analytics and operations management
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments and drive operational initiatives
- Spanish fluency is preferred but not mandatory if accompanied by relevant experience
