Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter to join our team as an Assistant Plant Manager. This role is responsible for supervising production operations, managing a crew of 20+ employees, and ensuring deadlines are met. Your ultimate goal will be to become the Plant Manager once you have learned all the necessary skills. The current Plant Manager will remain with the company, but you will assume full responsibilities and enjoy similar job security. Opportunity for advancement is guaranteed for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production of components and finished products
• Lead and motivate a team of 20+ production employees
• Develop and maintain production schedules and ensure deadlines are met
• Monitor workflow and implement process improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with Plant Manager on scheduling and resource allocation
• Maintain accurate production records and report performance metrics

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory or management role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Preferred:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles
