Duties

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood development activities
• Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and curiosity
• Help with classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, and outdoor play to ensure smooth transitions throughout the day
• Work closely with children with diverse needs
• Collaborate on curriculum development efforts to enhance lesson plans and educational materials
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and classroom events

Requirements

• Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and behavior management techniques
• Familiarity with special education strategies and working with individuals with disabilities or autism is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
• Ability to assist in lesson planning focused on literacy education, math skills, and Montessori or other educational philosophies
• Experience in classroom management and childcare best practices is highly desirable
• Must be energetic, patient, adaptable, and passionate about fostering a positive learning environment for young learners

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
