Assistant Preschool Teacher / Counselor for Summer Program

Well established preschool seeking a highly motivated Assistant Teacher who loves working with children for our upcoming summer session.

Part Time

• Days: Tues/Wed/Thurs
• Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Dates: June 30th – August 6th

Responsibilities

• Support lead teacher in daily activities
• Set up daily activities before children arrive
• Assist children with daily crafts
• Keep children active and engaged by facilitating a variety of developmentally appropriate activities
• Provide constant supervision of children
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized outdoor play area/classroom/lunch area
• Provide constant supervision and ensure a positive atmosphere

Requirements

• Experience working with children in preschool, daycare or camp setting
• CPR, First Aide Certified
• Educational backround preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Preschool/Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
