Assistant Procurement Officer – Nelion Exports

Location: Sion (on‑site, full‑time)

Reports to: Client - Vendor Relationship Manager and Managing Director

About Us:

Nelion Exports is a government recognized export house seeking a meticulous Assistant Procurement Officer to ensure seamless, compliant shipments of our diverse product range.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing RFQ's and evaluating quotations

- Communication with multiple vendors, ensuring the costing is done in time

- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and clients wherever required

- Make documents like Proforma Invoice and Purchase Order on our custom software

- Help maintain the vendor data base, find new vendors and track previous order rates

- Bridge the gap between the procurement and documentation department

Compulsory Requirements:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in purchase/ procurement/ equivalent field

- Minimum commitment: 2 years

- Basic English language proficiency, in both, written and verbal

- Adept in MS Office tools, majorly Excel and Word

- Adept in online research

- Multitasking, to be able to handle multiple quotations and co-ordinations with different vendors

- Excellent organizational, communication and problem‑solving skills.

- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)

Preferred Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree or Dimploma in a technical field

- Technical knowhow of engineering products

- Knowledge of the different government platforms involved in excel
