Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Procurement Officer to support our Procurement team in managing sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination activities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, and capable of handling procurement processes efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing materials and obtaining quotations from suppliers.
- Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up with vendors regarding order status and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and support inventory replenishment activities.
- Maintain procurement records including quotations, invoices, delivery notes, and purchase documentation.
- Assist in resolving delivery discrepancies, quality issues, and supplier concerns.
- Support cost comparisons and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and approval procedures.
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain tracking sheets regularly.
- Support the Procurement Manager in daily procurement operations and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support role preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good negotiation and vendor coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP/Procurement systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
