Assistant Product Development & Sourcing

Job Overview & Duties
We are seeking Assistant Product Development & Sourcing to perform the following duties:

Product Development & Seasonal Product Planning (20%) – Support the development of sleepwear products from concept through production, analyze trends, consumer demand, and product opportunities.

Vendor Sourcing & Material Management (25%) – Coordinate with suppliers, source fabrics and trims, assist in evaluating vendor performance and support sourcing activities

Product Specifications & Technical Documentation (20%) – Prepare and maintain product specifications, BOMs, technical packages, and development records.

Cost Analysis, Pricing & Business Planning (15%) – Assist with costing, pricing analysis, budgeting decisions, and profitability analysis and reviews

Production Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%) – Work with design, merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to monitor timelines and support process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required in Product Development or Fashion Production or Fashion or Merchandising or Fashion Merchandising & Retail Management
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting supplier relationships
• Familiarity with procurement practices including contracts management and e-commerce platforms
• Ability to analyze data related to pricing, supply chain metrics, and vendor performance for strategic decision-making
• Effective communication skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and teamwork

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
