About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Assistant Production Manager to support and help lead our embroidery department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the production floor, understands embroidery operations inside and out, and is ready to grow into a full Production Manager position.

This is not just a machine operator role — we are looking for a leader who can balance production execution with day-to-day operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Operate and oversee commercial embroidery machines
• Assist in scheduling machines and workflow to maximize efficiency
• Manage daily production timelines and ensure on-time order completion
• Oversee shipping and receiving of goods
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels (garments, thread, supplies)
• Maintain quality control standards throughout production

Leadership & Team Development

• Support and motivate production staff
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment
• Train and mentor team members to improve performance and efficiency
• Help identify process improvements and implement best practices
• Lead by example on the production floor

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of embroidery production experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial embroidery machines and production workflows
• Experience with scheduling and managing production flow
• Working knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
