Position: Assistant Professor – MIT College of Railway Engineering & Research

Location: Barshi, Solapur, Maharashtra

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in Computer Science and related fields using activity-based and industry-relevant approaches.
• Conduct research, publish papers, and contribute to academic and institutional growth.
• Engage students in projects, seminars, workshops, and connect academia with industry.
• Participate in curriculum design, quality assurance (NBA/NAAC/UGC/AICTE), and innovative teaching methodologies.

Qualifications

• ME/M.Tech and BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT.
• PhD or pursuing PhD from Tier-1 institutes preferred.
• 5-7 years teaching/research experience; industry exposure and global experience desirable.
• SET/NET/JRF/GATE qualified is a plus.

Required Skills

• Strong subject knowledge in programming, AI, ML, Data Science, Cloud, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, IoT.
• Passionate educator, researcher, and mentor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dynamic, adaptable, and collaborative team player with high EQ and SQ.
