About This Role:
The Librarian is responsible for providing research services, information literacy instruction, and outreach to support and advocate for the research needs of Lamar University / Lamar Institute of Technology constituents. Additionally, the librarian will emerge in meaningful scholarship and service within and beyond the university.

Ability to create and publish scholarly works
Physical Requirements: Able to lift 25 pounds and be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing, and walking between buildings.
Job Conditions: Indoor office conditions, Extensive computers use, Occasional weekend or evening work may be required
Pay Range: Commensurate
