The University of Kalba's College of Sport Science invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Physical Education and Sport Science. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching, practical instruction, and academic support across the undergraduate program in Physical Education and Sport Science. The ideal candidate will possess strong pedagogical skills, a commitment to student-centred learning, and a passion for promoting health, fitness, and sport education. The selected candidate should be able to teach one or more of the following courses:

• Sports coaching (theoretical and practical)
• Sports Biomechanics
• Performance Analysis
• Sports Management

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in areas such as Physical Education, sports coaching, and related disciplines.
• Conduct practical sessions and field-based activities that enhance students' applied learning.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physical Education and/or Sport Science.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level.
• Evidence of professional engagement in sport, coaching, or physical education practice.
• Strong research record.
• Experience integrating technology and digital tools into teaching.
• Familiarity with international standards in sport science education.
• Certification in coaching, or fitness instruction.
