Troy University’s chiropractic clinic will be the primary clinical training facility for the Doctor of Chiropractic Program. The Assistant Professor of Practice and Clinical Coordinator of Chiropractic Education oversees all clinical operations, student clinical education, faculty supervision, and community healthcare delivery at the clinic. This position works in close collaboration with the Director of Chiropractic Education Program to ensure that clinical training meets and exceeds Council on Chiropractic Education accreditation standards for supervised patient contact hours, and that the clinic serves as an outstanding healthcare resource for the Wiregrass community.
In Class Teaching Percentage 75-100 Online Teaching Percentage 0-25 Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) from a CCE-accredited institution
- Ability to gain an active and unrestricted chiropractic licensure in Alabama
- Minimum five (5) years of clinical practice with demonstrated clinical leadership experience
- Experience in student supervision, clinical education, or healthcare program administration
- Exceptional and proven leadership, administrative, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-doctoral board certification (DACBSP, DABCO, DACRB, DACBN, or equivalent CCE-recognized specialty)
- Dual degree and supportive certifications (master’s with (L)ATC, MPT/DPT, Nursing, CSCS, TSAC, PES, CES, etc.)
- Prior experience as Clinic Director, Associate Clinic Director, or Senior Clinical Faculty at a CCE-accredited DCP
- VA Community Care or military/tactical clinical experience
- Experience developing or managing chiropractic EHR systems and clinical quality assurance programs
- Experience developing externship/rotation affiliation agreements and supervising site credentialing
