Assistant Professor of Practice in Finance

NHU Riyadh, the Saudi branch campus of the University of New Haven, will begin operations in Fall 2026 and offers an American university experience with AACSB accredited business programs. The College of Business and Digital Innovation invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice in Finance, who will teach, conduct research, and develop curriculum in a new, internationally connected academic venture.

You Will
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses, including:
    • Undergraduate: Personal Finance, Business Finance, Financial Decision Making, Credit and Risk Analysis, Financial Analytics, Principles of Real Estate, Quantitative Trading Strategies, Risk and Insurance, Investment Analysis and Management, Financing a New Business, Financial Institutions and Markets, International Finance, Corporate Financial Management, Capstone - Case Studies in Finance
    • Graduate: Introduction to Finance, Corporate Finance
  • Collect and analyze learning assessment data as needed.
  • Conduct cutting edge research that advances the field of Finance.
  • Develop innovative curricula for undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • Guide and advise students, fostering their professional development.
  • Engage in service activities that support the department, college, and university.
  • Support and engage in student focused activities to enrich campus life.

You Need
  • Ph.D. in Finance.
  • Master's degree in finance (a CFA designation is advantageous) and significant teaching experience in college finance will be considered.
  • Teaching excellence and passion for student learning.
  • Strong research record or potential for high quality intellectual contributions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Business practice experience is welcome.
Benefits

Compensation, including salary and allowances, will follow the Saudi Arabian framework and be commensurate with qualifications, experience and education. Successful candidates will be facilitated to obtain and maintain the necessary visa and work authorisations. All academic duties will be supervised by the university's administrative staff.
