Job Description:
- To prepare and deliver lectures to the medical & dental students in their relevant subjects.
- To conduct and supervise practical in their relevant subject.
- To formulate purposeful and appropriate lesson plans that provides effective teaching strategies for the students.
- To encourage students’ enthusiasm for the learning process and the development of good study habits.
- To ensure a conducive learning environment in the classroom.
- To evaluate the students within their teaching assignments.
- To prepare and submit progress report to the competent authority as and when required.
- To demonstrate a strong grasp of the subject matter.
- To teach and train using modern gadgets, audiovisual aids and other equipment & materials to supplement presentations.
- To evaluate accomplishments of students on a regular basis using multiple assessment methods such as class tests and assignments.
- To observe and respect the confidentiality of records and information regarding student’s examinations.
- To actively participate in professional growth activities through attending workshops, seminars and conferences.
- To build liaison with the administration in planning appropriate in-service training programs.
- To participate and represent departmental/professional view in different committee meetings as and when required.
- Develop and collaborate with others in clinical or other research as appropriate to the specialty on a local, regional and national basis.
Department: Pathology (Microbiology)
Qualification: MBBS, FCPS, M. Phil OR equivalent postgraduate qualification in relevant subject.
Experience: Minimum 02 years’ experience at PMDC recognized institution in relevant subject.
Research Papers: Two research publications in relevant subject in peer reviewed indexed journals.
