Assistant Professor Surgery

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, ward teaching, and clinical demonstrations to MBBS students.
• Teach core surgical topics, principles, and procedures in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Supervise students during ward rotations, outpatient clinics, operating theatres, and bedside teaching.
• Conduct practical assessments, OSCEs, viva voce, and written examinations.
• Mentor and guide students in academic and professional development.
• Participate in postgraduate training and supervision of residents, where applicable.
• Provide clinical care to patients in wards, outpatient departments, emergency, and operating theatres.
• Assist in elective and emergency surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Participate in departmental meetings, morbidity and mortality meetings, and academic activities.
• Contribute to curriculum development, revision, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Engage in research activities and publish in recognized medical journals.
• Supervise student and trainee research projects.
• Organize seminars, journal clubs, workshops, and continuing medical education CME sessions.
• Participate in accreditation, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Adhere to institutional policies, patient safety standards, and professional ethics.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or administration.

Pay: Rs170,000.00 - Rs180,000.00 per day

Education:

• Doctorate (Preferred)
