Assistant Project Coordinator

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, professional, friendly, and organized individual to assist in administrative tasks of our business.

Who We Are

We are an Electrical Contracting company looking to build a strong team in providing expert Commercial and Residential electrical services. Benefits we offer include competitive wage, Medical/Dental Insurance, paid time off and holiday pay.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Manage calendar for our upper management including scheduling and confirming appointments.

- Manage and schedule customer leads/inquiries.

- Assist project coordinator in administrative tasks including pulling permits, scheduling inspections, gathering submittals, etc.

- Manage communications, including responding to customer phone calls and emails; communications to staff and contractors.

- Assist in internal business planning and staff meetings.

- General bookkeeping; expense reporting.

- Manage and organize various forms of documentation for day to day operations.

- Manage permit applications and scheduling of inspections.

Qualifications:

- Experience/Familiarity in trade contracting company operations and processes

- 2+ years of related administrative experience

- Bachelor's Degree preferred

- Excellent computer skills and tech savvy. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

- Effective listener and learner

- Notary Public (preferred) - must be willing to become certified

- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to multi-task and work autonomously.

- Friendly and kind personality

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Trade business (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC): 1 year (Required)
  • Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Google Drive, Docs, Sheets: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Word: 2 years (Preferred)
