Assistant Project Manager – Construction

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public and private construction work and be adept at managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
Project Manager, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules.
- Monitor Field Progress: Ensure projects are on track and meet quality standards.
- Job Cost Coding and Estimate Management: Manage project budgets and cost estimates.
- Oversee Vendor and Subcontractor Agreements: Negotiate and manage purchase orders and agreements.
- Review Costs and Billing: Oversee costs, billing, as-builts, and change orders.
- Project Close-out: Ensure successful project completion and close-out.
- Technical Knowledge: Utilize Project/Primavera knowledge for effective project management.
- Client Relations: Maintain positive client relationships through regular updates and effective communication.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate resources efficiently to ensure project success.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation and reporting.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in public and private Construction.
- Thorough understanding of standard construction practices, processes, and methods.
- Excellent computer and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
