Job Summary
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of construction projects from start to finish, the ability to offer innovative, strategic solutions to complex challenges, and drive business results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day activities of contract administration, pay requests, change orders, requests for information, tracking submittals, and closeouts

Development and follow-up of Work Releases and Subcontractors paperwork

Research and acquire permits

Develop and process required disclosure gorms

Assist Project Management team with the preparation of monthly billings to clients, subcontractors, and vendors

Procurement of consultants and contractors and manage close-out

Handle M/WBE reporting and audits, as required by City of Chicago and/or clients

Review subcontractor applications for payment

Manage owner consultants, as needed, and prioritize project tasks to meet deadlines
Qualifications
-
3 – 8 years of professional experience

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or relevant field

Experience in design/build or related field

Build consensus and rapport across multiple disciplines and departments

Ability to work independently, exercise judgement, and take initiative

Excellent attention to detail and organization

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Highly organized with strong analytical skills

Ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
