Assistant Project Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team and help drive successful project execution from initiation to completion. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Wilmington, MA. The Assistant Project Manager will support project oversight by collaborating with team members to ensure effective management and execution of electrical projects. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, expediting materials, assisting with inspections, and maintaining project timetables. The role requires consistent communication, problem-solving, and ensuring operational efficiency in delivering high-quality results.

Duties

  • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets to align with client goals and company standards
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take detailed minutes, and follow up on action items to keep projects on track
  • Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining project documentation using tools like Microsoft Office and Trimble
  • Support communication between team members, clients, vendors, and stakeholders through professional phone etiquette and multi-line phone systems
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables; update project management software regularly to reflect current status
  • Perform clerical duties including proofreading documents, data entry, and maintaining accurate records for billing and bookkeeping purposes
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally while maintaining positive relationships
  • Support the project team with personal assistant tasks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 0-2 years work experience
  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic computer literacy
  • Previous clerical experience including data entry, filing, proofreading, and calendar management
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping experience is desirable but not required
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently with strong time management skills
  • Experience in construction preferred but not required

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
