Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in executing various initiatives. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects, which include highways, bridges, utilities, traffic control and various infrastructure tasks. Collaborating closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and government agencies.
Summary of Duties
- Assist in the planning and execution of project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Coordinate communication between team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and meeting notes.
- Visit the job sites, if necessary, to support the management of the project.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates
- Support the estimating team with bid, quote requests, and takeoff processes.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Support the team in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing office supplies.
- Draft Work Task Agreements with Vendors and Subcontractors
- Read and Analyze Blueprint Plans
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Skills NEEDED
- Proficient in office management practices with strong clerical skills.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Experience as a medical receptionist or personal assistant is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced communication capabilities.
- Proficient in proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
