Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (APM-HVAC) with a focus on accounting, specifically Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). In this role, you will support project coordination, financial management, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth project execution. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your construction management skills within a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in HVAC installation projects.
Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Assist the Preconstruction Manager and the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating HVAC projects.
- Document Control: Maintain project documentation, P&D logs (RFIs, submittals, drawings, logs, change orders). Executed contracts, COI, W9's, Certified Payroll and Sage management.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and execution
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure timely completion of HVAC projects.
- Support the review and processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payment applications related to AP-AR functions.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to track project progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Utilize construction management software
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, change orders, and financial transactions related to each project.
- Contribute to project meetings by providing updates on financial status and supporting documentation as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or construction management is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and blueprint reading enhances your ability to support project teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of contracts, schematics, and construction scheduling principles.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
