Assistant Project Manager / Estimator

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with proficiency in various construction management software. This role involves evaluating project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Utilize construction estimating software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Primavera P6 to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
• Assess material and labor costs, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for in the estimates.
• Prepare and present detailed proposals and bids to clients, ensuring clarity and transparency in the estimation process.
• Monitor project schedules using tools like Primavera for effective time management and coordination.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and verify pricing accuracy.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and related documentation for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential.
• Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Primavera P6, and Civil 3D is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and site experience is required.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret schematics effectively.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
