CLASSIFICATION: Full Time - Exempt - Salaried

COMPENSATION: $80,000-$115,000 base salary (depending on experience)

An established and growing Commercial General Contractor based in New York City is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support ongoing interior buildouts across corporate, retail, and commercial spaces. POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and upper management to assist in the planning, coordination, and administration of commercial and residential interior projects. This individual will be responsible for assisting in project oversight, coordinating detailed monthly reports to track progress, handling documentation needs and any foreseeable challenges along with proposed solutions for the client.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working for a general contractor on commercial interiors, retail, or corporate interior projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction management platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site and travel to job sites throughout New York City as needed
