Interior Design knowledge required, this is an entry level position for interior design students or resent graduates. Assistant project managers have the following duties':
1. help create presentations using Adobe In-Design
2. sample orders: fabric, tile, wallcovering, flooring etc
3. organize the client bins and make sure each bin has the samples for project
4. contact vendors for tracking information, pricing verification, lead times etc
5. resource room organization- put samples back after each presentation, keep everything organized and easy to find. This goes for a fabric/wallcovering sample library as well as tile, wood flooring, carpets etc
6. update budgets in Microsoft Excell
7. organize client folder and binders for efficient use
8. Showroom needs: answering phone, keeping products stocked like paper, binding equipment, etc.
9. Inventory: keeping accessory and furniture inventory up to date
10. Accessory warehouse organization and prep for install. Packaging product and preparing for delivery, at time assist in the delivery and install
11. Job site delivery and drop-off for small deliveries
12. Assist PM with large installations- this can consist of jobsite clean-up, make beds, steam drapery, etc anything needed to get the home ready for clients to arrive
Programs Needed for Position: Design Manager (We will train), Microsoft Word & Excel, Adobe In-Design
Programs that are a plus: AutoCAD, Google Sketchup, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
