Assistant Property Manager

Gulf Style Rentals is family owned and operated and one of the top performing vacation rental management companies in the Miramar Beach and Destin Area. We are looking for a full-time (5 days a week, 8 hour shifts) and year round (Yes, we stay busy in the slow season!) Property Inspector who excels in multi-tasking and organization, ensuring that properties meet high standards before check ins. This position requires someone who is eager to learn, energetic, comfortable in a fast paced environment. Typical duties include pre-inspecting properties, checking for damages/maintenance needs, stocking guest amenities, overseeing the cleanliness of properties, organizing supplies, and lifting items up to 50 pounds (more info below!)

COMPENSATION:

• Starting at $22/hour
• Quarterly Bonuses (eligible after 3 months with the company)
• Health Insurance or Retirement Stipend (eligible after 6 months with the company)

DUTIES, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

• Proven experience in vacation rental management is preferred.
• Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): minor cleaning, inspection and organization of properties, stocking of guest supplies, running errands, documentation of cleaning, inspection, and maintenance items in company software, and more.
• Strong organizational and technology skills and the ability to effectively use company reporting and maintenance tracking software on cell-phone
• Attention to Detail and Problem Solving Skills - identify, report and solve existing and potential property related problems
• A desire to be a dependable, proactive contributor to the team - Examples include, but are not limited to: helping out around the office and assisting team members in need
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and privately owned vehicle with valid insurance for use
• Ability to be active for most of the work day
• Strong, customer service focused, English communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate with owners, guests, and other team members
• Some holidays and weekends are required, but we value time off and work-life balance.
