Position Overview

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a key role behind the scenes in creating an exceptional guest experience. You will primarily maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the property, while also supporting the Property Manager with day-to-day operations as needed.

This is a hands-on, physically active role. Most work takes place outdoors across cottages, hotel suites, and cabins. From one season to the next, tasks can vary—from snow removal in winter to property prep and maintenance in summer. If you enjoy being outside, working independently, and taking pride in making a property shine, this role could be a great fit.

Requirements:

• Must be located in Strawberry or Pine
• Available on Thursdays and Fridays
• Reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the property to the highest standards
• Change linens, make beds, wash dishes, vacuum, mop, dust, and polish furniture
• Empty trash, clean windows, and maintain a pristine environment
• Restock supplies to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction
• Report maintenance issues and assist with minor repairs
• Scoop snow or perform seasonal outdoor upkeep as needed
• Perform a wide variety of tasks including inventory management, delivering items to properties, watering plants, refilling propane tanks, wiping down grills, and more
• Ensure all cottages, cabins, and units meet The Strawberry Inn standards
• Support the Property Manager with operational tasks and assist wherever needed
• Adhere to check-in and check-out schedules to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Work independently for much of the day while maintaining organization and efficiency

Success in this role: You anticipate needs, maintain high standards, and work in sync with the Property Manager to create a seamless guest experience.

This Job Is Not

• An administrative or office-based role
• A front desk or hostess position. You will primarily work behind the scenes preparing the property before and between guest stays.

Qualifications

• Previous professional housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering excellence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Physical ability to lift 20 lbs. and perform hands-on tasks
• Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License
• Clean criminal background
• Grit, determination, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
