Roles & Responsibilities:
- Creating and processing purchase orders, which includes specifying item quantities, delivery schedules, and other terms.
- Sourcing new suppliers, building and maintaining good relationships with vendors, and assisting in vendor negotiations.
- Tracking shipments, monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages, and assisting with inventory checks.
- Maintaining records of invoices, discounts, and purchase history, and conducting market research.
- Ensuring that purchased goods meet the company's quality standards.
- To effectively deal with vendors and internal departments.
- To analyze costs and manage the supply chain.
- To ensure accuracy in orders and records.
- To manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- To understand the flow of goods from procurement to delivery.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing purchasing systems and inventory control.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and procurement best practices.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be complete bachelor's degree.
