Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor – Road & Infrastructure to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, quantity take-offs, and commercial management of road construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for road and infrastructure works
• Conduct quantity take-offs and measurement of works (earthworks, asphalt, utilities, road markings, etc.)
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative statements
• Prepare interim valuations, progress payments, and final accounts
• Monitor project costs, variations, and budget control
• Prepare and evaluate variation orders and EOT-related cost claims
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions and project specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum [3–7] years of experience in road & infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and construction cost control
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and relevant QS software
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
