As Assistant Residence Manager, you'll partner with the Residence Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the residence while supporting both residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in overseeing daily residential operations to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home

Support, coach, and motivate team members to deliver high-quality care and services

Help coordinate staffing schedules and ensure appropriate coverage
-
Promote the health, safety, dignity, and well-being of residents
-
Encourage community participation and meaningful recreational activities
-
Uphold person-centered practices and the agency's commitment to individualized support
-
Maintain accurate documentation, records, and communication logs
-
Assist with household maintenance needs and coordinate repairs as necessary
-
Serve as a positive leader and role model, fostering teamwork and excellence
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
-
Valid New York State driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications

2–3 years of related experience in residential services, human services, healthcare, or a similar field

Previous leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
