Assistant Resident Engineer / Construction Manager

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Assistant Resident Engineer / Construction Manager with 15+ years of experience to support the Resident Engineer and lead field-level construction management activities. The ideal candidate will oversee contractors, monitor site progress, ensure quality and safety standards, and help drive timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising all on-site construction activities.
• Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is progressing according to approved plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Monitor contractor performance, workforce, and material usage to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate construction activities between contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and verify contractor submissions (e.g., shop drawings, method statements, material submittals).
• Lead site meetings and toolbox talks related to construction coordination and safety.
• Identify construction issues and collaborate on engineering solutions to avoid project delays.
• Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures on-site.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for senior management and the client.
• Assist in managing construction logistics, quality control, and cost monitoring on site.
