Assistant Resident Engineer(Civil)

• Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising infrastructure development works such as roads, sewerage, drainage, water supply, culverts, and related utilities.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and contract requirements.
• Monitor daily site progress and report deviations or delays.
• Inspect materials, workmanship, and construction methods to maintain quality standards.
• Conduct site tests and verify results against project specifications.
• Ensure proper compaction, asphalt works, and concrete placement meet required standards.
• Assist in verifying contractor’s interim payment certificates (IPC) and claims.
• Maintain records of work progress, inspections, tests, and correspondence.
• Support Resident Engineer in reviewing shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate between contractors, consultants, and the client for smooth execution of works.
• Attend progress meetings and prepare site reports for management.
• Report critical issues, risks, and proposed solutions to the Resident Engineer.
• Identify unsafe practices and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to contractors during execution.
• Resolve minor site issues independently and escalate major issues to the Resident Engineer.
• Conduct joint inspections with the contractor during key construction stages.
• Assist in preparing snag lists and ensure rectification before project handover.
• Verify as-built drawings and final project documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Islamabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Five: 2 years (Preferred)
