A new restaurant in Al Ain is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, smooth and efficient staff performance, and overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Train, coach, schedule, and supervise all restaurant staff to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain consistently high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness
- Address customer feedback, complaints, and operational issues promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Department regarding supply requests and purchase orders
- Monitor inventory of supplies and consumables, oversee equipment maintenance, and implement cost control measures
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Oversee cash handling procedures, billing accuracy, and daily sales reconciliation
- Plan and execute promotional and sales initiatives to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth, efficient operations
Qualifications & Skills
- At least with 5 years of proven experience as a Restaurant Manager
- HACCP and EFST Certifications required
- Knowledgeable with the POS system and Foodics software
- Basic knowledge of budgeting, inventory, and cost control
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to speak and understand Arabic is a definite advantage
- Willing to work on weekends and holidays
- Valid driving license and a car (advantage)
