We are hiring a part-time Retail Lead for our Folsom store. Our ideal candidate is positive, friendly, helpful, hardworking, reliable, with strong leadership skills. Our retail stores are customer driven with a fun and social atmosphere.
Compensation:
Starting at $23.00/hour plus tips ($5-$8/hour)

Assistant Retail Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the flow of the store, keeping in mind that customer service is the top priority.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Supervises staff properly while understanding each staff member and how to inspire/motivate to bring out each person’s potential.
- Take appropriate action to document occurrences in which standards are not being followed as well as inappropriate behavior.
- Recognizes customer flow and makes sure customers are getting the best service at any given time during the day.
- Developing relationships with regular customers and cultivating new repeat customers. Pursue corporate customers and follow up on sales leads.
- Ensure staff members have a clear knowledge of products and are able to use that knowledge to sell and upsell the products better, while promoting the quality of our ingredients and methods.
- Ensure staff members understand events or seasonal products clearly and that they understand it is their job to promote these items with flyers, pictures, etc.
- Oversees the behavior and performance of the Front House staff and makes sure they are upholding the highest standard of customer service, while continually reviewing procedures when needed.
- Exhibits 100% accuracy on product knowledge.
Requirements:
- Prior leadership experience
- Proven track record of success in a supervisory role
- Ability to learn and retain specific knowledge based around products
- Ability to multitask and function in a fast-paced environment
- Insist on the highest standards with attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Barista: can skillfully make espresso drinks on a commercial espresso machine.
- Stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to six-eight hours in length, with appropriate breaks.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in weight.
- California Food Handler Card
- Supervisory Sexual Harrasment Training Certificate
- Must have complete open availabilty
- Weekends are required.
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
