Risk Rating Models:

Periodically update policies and procedures related to management of risk rating models.

Custodian of the Bank’s risk rating inventory.

Monitor data quality checks and override ratios of risk rating system on quarterly basis.

Conduct quarterly monitoring and annual validation of risk rating models in accordance with the approved validation procedures.
-
Obtain the required internal approvals for any proposed change to the existing risk rating models and ensure compliance with approved policies.

Facilitate resolution of risk rating model-related issues with business users.
-
Maintain internal facility rating model and update it in line with regulatory changes.
-
Facilitate and support the development and implementation of risk rating development.
-
Follow-up on IT related issues concerning risk rating systems.
-
Update and maintain model factors in accordance with approved policies, including industry risk answers and internal databases.

Highlight and propose model changes to management based on findings and internal validation thresholds.
-
Provision of data submission to credit bureau, when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s or master's Degree in relevant major.
EXPERIENCE
Starting from 4 years of relevant experience.
SKILLS

In-depth knowledge of risk rating model development, including design, calibration, and implementation for retail and non-retail portfolios

Strong understanding of analytical risk models, risk dashboards and associated metrics.

Strong experience in model validation techniques, including back-testing, benchmarking, and performance monitoring in line with Basel standards.

Proficient in monitoring model performance metrics such as override ratios, discriminatory power, and data quality indicators

Familiarity with internal rating systems and facility rating models, including periodic updates based on regulatory changes
-
Knowledge of Risk management governance framework and control mechanisms.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel including VBA programming.

Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations Hands-on experience with analytical and statistical tools as R, SQL, and SAS. Excellent business acumen with broad exposure to financial modelling practices

Project Management capabilities, including planning, coordination, and execution

Good knowledge of Basel Accord (II & III) standards.
